Delhi International Ethnic Folklorre Festival is the unique recreational and non-commercial festival, one-of-a-kind in the world of folklore dance and music. It is characterized by the unique format of the event, variety of folklore and performing features of performances, from all corners of the Globe, openness to the new, combination of entertainment and high artistic level of participant’s performance where the cultures of the World UNITE in the heart of India’s Capital New Delhi.

The Festival showcases 5-7 International Folklore Ensembles with 30-40 National Ensembles. The festival will be a highlight of the New Delhi’s Cultural diversity and it expects an exceptional line up which brings over 400 artists together with the massive crowd over 10,000 patrons by hitting the biggest grounds & Auditoriums of New Delhi and NCR Regions.

DIEFF INDIA celebrates the glory of world folklore on Indian stages with a theme of Let’s Dance for world peace along with Indian Tourism of Delhi, UP, Haryana, Rajasthan & Himachal Pradesh.

Festival Special Category:

• Under free partiction Festival accepts two International groups with exceptional professionalism in the field of arts and should be new to DIEFF INDIA.
• Festival will provide food and accommodation to the groups slected under special category
• Groups should get the international flight tickets at their own expense.

Festival highlights:

• Direct flights to Delhi - Indira Gandhi International Airport- DEL (IGI).
• Welcome to all groups and all ages, along with Families and friends of Artistic groups.
• Comfort hotel stays with utmost hygiene along with Delicious cuisines of INDIA will be provided.
• Convenient and friendly Program schedules.
• Each participant will be awarded an Honorary Diploma of Festival. A Festival Trophy to the group leader.
• The organizers will send you soft copy of group performances with photos & Videos from the festival program for each group.
• Traditional Indian dress wear and photo sessions.
• Helps to explore 10+ Monuments of Delhi in City Tour and other state tours along with shopping.

Terms & Conditions :

Festival has two participation Categories

1. Festival Participant (Mandatory/Compulsory)
2. Festival Competitor (Optional)

Festival Participant (Mandatory)

• Festival Organizer will select the best 10 dance/music groups with exceptional artistic level from 4 corners of the World.
• Dance Styles: Festival is open to all dance and music groups of any style: Folk Dances (More preferrable), Theatres, Classical, Contemporary, Latin, Ball room, Street, Modern Social, Oriental, Fusion Dances, Choirs, Brass Bands, Orchestras & majorettes.
• Age Category: 7 to 70+ years.
• Group Members: 4+ to 40+ unlimited.
• Music: Participants are allowed to perform on live or recorded music.
• Travel: Flight Tickets round trip and the Travel Health insurance should be at the Group's Expense.
• Accommodation: Each group should choose the accommodation packages listed below in this section. Festival provides 3* & 4* hotel and 3 times meals according to the Accommodation packages chosen by the groups. (220€ / 260€ / 375€ / 480€ etc.,).
• Performance: The Groups should perform 3 different dance items with a duration of 10/ 15 minutes each 1 or 2 times a day at provided venues.>

Festival Competitor (Optional)

• It is mandatory that only Festival Participants can take part in the festival Competition.
• Competition is open to all dance and music groups of any dance and music styles.
• Competition accepts solos, duos, trios, quartet to Groups.
• Competition accepts the members from 10 to 70+ of age groups.
• Participants are allowed to perform on live or recorded music.

Competition has two categories:

• Group Category
• Participation Fee: 100€ per Group.
• Members: 05 to 20 members.
• Presentation time slot: 5:00-5:30 min dance item.
• Winner Awards: 500€, 200€, 100€ along with Trophies and Diplomas.
• Solo-Quartet Category
• Participation Fee: Solo: 25€, Duo:30€, Trio: 35€, Quartet: 40€.
• Members: 01 to 04 members.
• Presentation time slot: 2.30-3:00 min dance item.
• Winner Awards: 100€ & 50€ along with Trophies and Diplomas.

Jury:

• The Jury evaluates the participants in accordance with the regulations. The jury consists of 3 highly skilled professional, jury's decision will be considered as the final verdict for the competition.
• At Jury's decision competition holds surprise additional silver and bronze medals with the relevant diplomas in choreographies & costumes.

Other Conditions :

• Venues for performances will include open-air stages, theaters, halls, Auditoriums, the parade through the central street- The New Delhi, and scenic spots without special stage facilities or lighting equipment.
• Groups should attend the rehearsal on time.
• Groups should provide 1 workshop in the festival and 1 parade.
• The group has to take part in all programs. During the festival period, the groups have no right to cancel any performance without any approval from the Festival Committee.
• Every member of the group, has to have Travel Insurance which should include your medical and accidental coverage during the festival period.
• Group will be accompanied by one DIEFF INDIA host during the festival.
• Group has to get 2 National Flags of their Country.
• Group has to get 3-4 Gifts to exchanges with officials of the Festivals during the opening and Closing Ceremony.
• Groups will be allotted one day during the festival for the Delhi City sightseeing. (Monument Entry fee should be paid by the participant)
• Other expenses, such as beverages, laundry, room service, long distance calls etc. shall be borne by the individual of the group.
• During the festival period, the groups have no right to cancel any performance without taking prior approval from the Festival Committee.
• Groups should stick to their seats at the venue and enjoy the other group performances and after intimation of their performance slot only they have to leave their seats.
• NOTE: Groups are the responsibility of the organizer from their arrival to the departures from IGI-New Delhi Airport according to the flight ticket schedules. On organizer's invitation groups are not allowed to stay in India for other purposes beyond the organizer's knowledge. Organizer will pick up the groups on arrival from IGI - New Delhi Airport and will escort the groups to the Boarding sections of IGI-New Delhi Airport on departures. If the Organizers encounter the groups with any other engagements with any other companies, the organizer have the right to cancel the invitation at any point of time and escort the groups to the Boarding sections of IGI - New Delhi Airport.

Accommodation Packages :

Group should choose the accommodation packages specified below.

• Arrival day's first mela is Lunch
• Departure day's last mela is Breakfast.
• Check in time (11:30-12:00 noon)
• Check out time (11:30-12:00 noon)

Single /Double Occupancy Charges :

• Single Occupancy 25€ Extra per day
• Double Occupancy 15€ Extra/day/person

Extra Day Charges :

• 25€ /day/person / 3* rated Hotel excluding the food.
• 35€ /day/person / 4* rated Hotel excluding the food.
• 15€ - 3 times meals.

Festival Rights :

• The festival reserves the right for Radio,TV and video-recording without paying any honorarium.
• The Festival organizing committee has the right to change the schedule of the program at any time during the festival.
• By applying you confirm that you accept all festival conditions. All detailed information will be supplied after the confirmation for participation.
• Any activity, either from any individual or any group that could harm the festival is not allowed.
• IEFF reserves the right to make its own decisions by consulting your organizing members at those unforeseen situations which are not mentioned in the Conditions of the festival.
